One of the questions we hear most often, including in our FAQ, is some version of "what does this app actually do with my data?" It's a fair question, especially for an app that's free and ad-supported. Here's the short version: a WhatsApp sticker app like ours only needs to do one thing — hand a sticker image to WhatsApp when you tap "Add to WhatsApp." It doesn't need to read your messages, see your contact list, or know who you're chatting with to do that.
WhatsApp provides an official system for third-party sticker apps: your app packages a set of images and hands them to WhatsApp through a defined interface, and WhatsApp takes it from there. The sticker app itself never sees inside your chats — it's a one-way handoff that ends the moment you tap "Add." Every app across our lineup, from Bubu Panda Stickers to Animated Baby Stickers, uses this same official mechanism.
If you check an app's permissions before installing, you'll typically see internet access, which is used for loading ads and checking for updates, and basic storage access needed to install the sticker pack itself. You won't see contacts, SMS, microphone, or camera permissions requested, because none of our apps have a reason to use them.
Our apps don't require creating an account, so there's no personal profile tied to your usage. Some anonymous device information — the kind of thing that comes standard with mobile advertising and analytics SDKs — is collected to serve and measure ads.
